All Mountain Ski
Magnum 7.7 Ti Suspension IQ is designed to handle anything on the mountain, from icy hard-pack to slushy late-spring crud. This ski is not the master of any one terrain or snow type, but will still serve you well enough whether you are floating through powder or carving down a hard-packed groomed slope. With a narrow waist width (75-85 mm) this ski's design is more focused to excel at carving down groomed slopes. As an intermediate ski with quick edge to edge transitions, the Magnum 7.7 Ti Suspension IQ will help you bring your carving to the next level.
The Magnum 7.7 Ti Suspension IQ is made for men. Men's skis tend to be stiffer, heavier, wider, and longer than women's skis. Women are still able to ride this ski successfully as long as they pay extra attention to the sizing and are certain there is a small enough size for them.
The Blizzard Magnum 7.7 Ti Suspension IQ has a hybrid (rocker and camber) ski profile.
The ski's profile is camber with rocker distributed between the tip and tail of the ski. The rockered tip and tail keep the ski's tips above the snow, improving the flotation of the ski (especially in powder!) and reducing the probability the tips will catch. The tip and tail rocker also allow the ski to be more nimble and maneuverable, while the camber profile preserves the ski's ability to carve on hard pack.
Side Construction: Magnum 7.7 Ti Suspension IQ is designed with a sidewall construction, also known as a ABS sidewall or sandwich construction. Every layer in this ski is flat, and a separate piece, usually made of metal, is placed vertically along the sides of the ski to create an edge and protect the core. In this design, the torsional pressure is fluidly transmitted to the edges, resulting in good edge grip for better carving and stability at higher speeds. On the downside, this design is heavier and more susceptible to damage
